Abstract


With the increasing strengthening of world economic liberalization and globalization , international trade and foreign direct investment blending trend is increasingly clear that become two important ties to promote the world economy . The increasingly close economic ties in China and Singapore , Singapore 's direct investment in China show growth characteristics and performance of trade in manufactured goods between the two countries produce industry trade . Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of Singapore 's direct investment in China bilateral intra-industry trade , and make relevant policy recommendations on this basis . First, this paper introduces the theory of international direct investment and international trade relations of , as well as intra-industry trade related theory , and from international direct investment mechanism of intra-industry trade impact of the departure , in accordance with the motivation of FDI and FDI mother country and the host country division of labor level , analysis of the effect of different types of foreign direct investment and intra-industry trade , the theoretical basis for subsequent research . Secondly , with the help of the existing statistical data , This article provides an overview of the status of Singapore 's direct investment and bilateral intra-industry trade , focus on the use of econometric model of international direct investment and intra-industry trade , demonstrated enterprise of Singapore 's direct investment and bilateral there is a positive correlation between intra-industry trade , revealing three main conclusions : China and Singapore higher intra-industry trade , vertical intra-industry trade accounts for a dominant position ; induction of Singapore 's direct investment in China and expand bilateral intra-industry trade ; vertically integrated direct investment is an important driving force for the development of intra-industry trade in China and Singapore at this stage . Finally, on the basis of these studies to better attract and benefit from foreign investment, improve the level of intra-industry trade policy recommendations .
