The impact of oil price fluctuations on the social development of Jiangsu Province

Abstract


The oil is non-renewable and scarce resources, related to the national economy and social development. Jiangsu is an energy resource-poor economic province, high dependence on foreign oil, the price of oil has a significant ripple effect on social development. In-depth study of the impact of oil price fluctuations on social development on the basis of effective coping strategies for sustainable economic and social development has important theoretical and practical significance. The main content of this paper: (1) in the system, the paper elaborated movements in oil prices at home and abroad, wave characteristics, interactive relationships and trends based on a profound analysis of the relationship between oil price fluctuations and social development. (2) papers on the basis of the analysis of economic and social development and energy consumption from food prices, housing prices and transportation industry analysis of the impact of oil price fluctuations Jiangsu living. (3) papers on domestic crude oil prices rate Jiangsu Oil producer price index rose rate, Jiangsu oil industrial product price index residents consumer price index relationship by regression analysis. The results show that Jiangsu Oil producer price index for crude oil price fluctuations reflect a more sensitive, higher than the national level. Oil producer price index rate of increase in the consumer price index rate of increase between some correlation, but the consistency of a lag is more obvious. (4) papers on domestic crude oil prices and Jiangsu consumer price index the cointegration test analysis, Shanxi, Shanghai empirical comparison results show that the part of the consumer price index fluctuations can be explained by the domestic crude oil prices up to Shanghai , followed by Jiangsu, Shanxi minimum, in line with the actual situation of energy consumption structure. (5) This paper analyzes the impact of rising oil prices on the automotive industry and consumer. Upgrading of automobile production costs, higher oil prices lead to inhibition of automobile production and sales, small displacement, economy car market prospects will be more optimistic. (6) in the summary of the text of the main conclusions on the basis of the actual situation of Jiangsu proposed strategies for sustainable development of Jiangsu's oil consumption: adjust the industrial structure, the establishment of energy-saving structural system; saving oil, the implementation of the oil import substitution strategy; positive development of renewable energy and new energy, optimize energy consumption structure.
