Abstract


In the search for new functional materials, metall-supramolecular associated with ditopic bis-terpyridines have become of increasing interest in the last years due to th structural advantages. This type of ligands is generally chemical and thermal stable, and has very high binding affinity, the complexes possess in many cases distinct magnetic, photochemical and electrochemical properties etc.In this thesis, the syntheses of rigid bis-terpyridine L~1、L~2、L~3 and flexible bis-terpyridine L~4、L~5 were described, moreover, single crystal for L~3 was obtained. A series of correspond metal-complexes were preparated , and the infrared, UV, fluorescence analytsis of Zn2+ complexes were carried out, via to investigating these dates, we concluded reasonable structure of complexes.The row material 4′-(p-phenol)-2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine ( L~0 ) was designed and synthesized in this paper. The rigid ligands of bis-terpyridine L~1、L~2、L~3 were also preparated by 1,4-dimethylene-benzene, 1,3-dimethylene-benzene, 4, 4′- dimethylene -biphen used as spacer, the flexible ligands of bis-terpyridine L~4、L~5 were preparated by dimethyl, tetramethyl used as spacer. X-ray analysis of single crystal for L~3 indicate it was center symmetrical structure concerning midpoint of biphenyl segment. Two L~3 consist of a asymmetrical cell, there is C-H…πforce each other. A series of correspond metal-complexes were preparated,and the infrared , UV, fluorescence analytsis of complexes were carried out. The UV spectra of complexes indicated there was no difference in UV absorption of the complexes identical metal ion . The UV absoption of the fourth period transition metal complexes arise red-shif along with increase of atomic number; the date of TG indicate that the reaction progress according to 2:1 between metal ion and ligand. Fluorescence analytsis of Zn2+ complexes showed that complex 3a,5a is more red-shift than ligand L~3,L~5, so it probably indicates that the two rings of terpyridine were close each other because flexibility, long chain or angle of two ligands.
