Abstract


Directly welded square steel tube for the study of static behavior truss conducted two specimens of soldered directly to the K-type space square steel tube truss static test. Through truss failure modes , load - axial force curve , strut axial force - relative displacement curve , load - deflection curves and ultimate load analysis of different high steel truss span example static behavior . Truss using ANSYS program based on the actual size of the specimen modeling and simulation of the experimental boundary conditions and loading calculations . Established three shell element truss finite element model . Model 1 is not considered affected shell element truss weld ; Model 2 is by locally increasing the strut thickness to consider the impact of the shell element truss weld ; Model 3 is set around the strut shell elements to consider additional weld shell impact trusses. While the load - axial force curve , strut axial force - relative displacement curve , load - deflection curves and failure modes of the test results of the truss with finite element results were compared to verify the steel truss using ANSYS program Static performance of the feasible. In addition , through the finite element analysis of the results , mastered the steel truss type K gap node stress distribution and plastic development process. ANSYS program using shell elements to simulate pipe truss although accuracy is higher, but the model and calculation of more time-consuming . In this paper, bar and beam elements to establish a simplified model of the truss rod axial force and deflection . Shell element and finite element model results comparison shows that the simplified model is not only accurate, but also used in the calculation model and less time . Experimental study on this subject and finite element analysis will square steel truss development in China provide some test data and analysis methods .
