Abstract


Yi is a minority with a long history and splendid culture, extensively absorb advanced culture in the long development and changes, and ultimately the formation of the unique culture of the Yi. The furniture is a special kind of cultural products of human society. Yunnan Yi accounted for more than 60% of the Yi total population of the country, most concentrated in the Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, the furniture in the regional material is based on the main decorative techniques such as carving and painting, in a step-by-step development The process of the formation of unique furniture, decorative arts, and at the same time as a material representation of Yi culture, is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Yi people. In this study, ethnology, folklore and anthropology, Chuxiong Yi furniture type, material, structural and decorative overall introduction and analysis, as exemplified in a large number of pictures of the field of research resulting focus depth analysis of Yunnan Chuxiong Yi furniture, decorative arts, the theoretical basis and development approach is designed to provide for the development of the Chuxiong Yi furniture. Yunnan Chuxiong Yi-depth understanding of the culture, history and art, and to maintain the continuity of the nation's traditional crafts and cultural revitalization of the national furniture industry and the development of the modern nation-furniture design has a very important significance and broad market development prospects. Yunnan Chuxiong Yi furniture is an important part of traditional Chinese furniture, is also one of the foundations of our traditional culture of ethnic furniture. Through research the following conclusions: First, the proposed Chuxiong Yi furniture, decorative arts and its formation is mainly influenced by the three major cultures of Yunnan bronze culture, Chu the paint and cultural and Central Plains Han culture; Chuxiong Yi furniture in carved and painted known for paint decoration, the Chuxiong Yi furniture decoration as the main line, the system detailed induction and analysis on the craft of furniture, decorative parts, patterns and colors, draw the the Chuxiong Yi furniture is both physical function and mental function, and summarized the characteristics of the decorative arts. At the same time raised its decorative patterns with distinct regional characteristics, showing Yi art features and aesthetic value, the furniture patterns are closely linked to religion, national culture, and constitute a major feature of the Yi culture; Third, Chuxiong Yi furniture modern context environment of proposed the Chuxiong Yi furniture development strategy to adapt to the needs of modern society people, to seek development in the form of the Chuxiong Yi furniture from the furniture, decoration and material innovation, The development has both Yi cultural characteristics, but also to adapt to the modern lifestyle of modern Yi furniture.
