Abstract


The clothing is human society is the most complex variety of consumer goods, it is not only self-image and social consciousness carrier , is also a personal inner world of a channel of communication with the outside world , while the clothing is also a stage to show themselves . Individuals trying to modification and change of body image to convey social information , the most direct way is to use the clothing . In a consumer society , to dress as a carrier , the body needs to obtain a symbolic value to reflect its status or personality . Performance expectations for a better life through symbols loaded in clothing to clothing showing more social significance . In the face of increasingly diverse styles , personalized and quickly updated clothing , consumers show purchase randomness , wearing a costume cycles satisfaction of clothing dropped . This paper attempts to explore modern society clothing wearing a life - changing situation from the point of view of the clothing consumption of the main study , the use of symbolic value theory and the theory of consumer behavior , which has important significance for guidance apparel consumer . Conditions and buying behavior of consumers apparel wearing as a starting point, of clothing wearing life changes . This paper consists of six parts : the first chapter to clarify the background of the research questions pointed out the inadequacies of the existing research , based on a review of literature , and made ??the focus of this study and data collection methods instructions. Chapter II of the consumer culture , the basic situation and changes of clothing to wear life were described . Chapters III and IV with the social significance of the concept of body image clothing rendering of clothing wearing life . The fifth chapter, use rational choice theory research clothing purchase behavior of wearing life . Chapter VI is conclusions and discussion . Of the content of this paper and summarized the basic conclusion is drawn , and related issues were discussed in theory , the inadequacies research described .
