Abstract


Textbooks are vital for curriculum construction and teaching practice . Comparative analysis to the teaching material can guide compiling the textbooks and sum up the experiences and theories.Both of“Road to success”and“Boya Chinese”are fairly new textbooks, they have similarities and differences. This essay comparative analyses the elementary level part of these two textbooks to evaluates the advantages and disadvantages as a teacher by comparing their text, vocabulary and grammar points, therefore, to provide some advices for textbook writers.
