Abstract


UG software based on magnesium alloy automotive steering wheel die casting process analysis , according to the design principles of the gating system design the top NOTE casting system , ring casting system and side NOTE casting system three gating system . Flow-3D software simulation times three gating system temperature field, flow field and defects analysis , the final results showed that the top casting casting system optimal . Die casting process parameters on the basis of determining the magnesium alloy automotive steering wheel skeleton gating system , in accordance with the principle of orthogonal experiment method , the packet ; Flow-3D software simulation parameters of the programs , each flow field the temperature field and the defect distribution in Fig . Identified through the analysis of simulation results , the influence of the casting process parameters of the forming process of the product , and to determine the design of the products forming the optimal process parameters : injection speed of 3m / s, preheating temperature of 400K, the casting temperature 925K and injection speed of 5m / s, preheating temperature of 400K, the casting temperature of 925K .
