Abstract


With the further development in the process of economic globalization, international trade and FDI develop rapidly. The international production and management of multinational corporation make the integration of international trade and investment step by step. Integration of international trade and investment becomes one of important economic globalization phenomenons. The outward trade of China develops rapidly, while outward direct investment is just at the beginning of development. In order to follow the trend of international trade and investment integration, China needs pay more attention to the development of outward direct investment, and make sure that outward trade and outward direct investment can develop coordinately. This paper writes in the view of international trade and investment integration, reviews the development of international trade and investment integration theory, discusses its performance, and analyses the necessity and possibility of outward direct investment. This paper also analyses the present condition of Chinese outward direct investment. In the end, the paper provides the suggestions on Chinese outward direct investment strategy adjustment on the basis of international experiences.
