Abstract


Apatite and phosphorus chemical fertilizer industry is the most important mineral raw materials, their types, formation of different crystalline forms and chemical composition varies widely , Flotability different. In the apatite flotation , due to calcite and apatite containing the same active particles which have similar Ca2 floatability , flotation separation more difficult, so the flotation characteristics of apatite and calcite do some basic research is necessary. Mineral particles of different surface properties of the monomer there are some differences , differences in the nature of the particle surface is the key factor affecting the role of agents is different minerals floatability difference between the underlying causes. This paper investigated the crystal structure of apatite and calcite starting calculated apatite and calcite surface active particles - Ca2 ion density , tested single mineral apatite and calcite in oleic acid and octadecylamine do flotation the flotation characteristics discussed two flotation on the mechanism of apatite and calcite and adsorption type , verified by experiment , two mineral density on the surface of Ca2 ions flotability decisive role.
