Abstract


Objective To observe the severe acute pancreatitis ( SAP ) before and after treatment of inflammatory cytokines , including tumor necrosis factor ( TNF - alpha ) , interleukin -8 ( IL - 8 ) , interleukin -6 ( IL - 6 ) and C-reactive protein ( CRP ) level of dynamic change, to evaluate its diagnostic value as SAP predictor for clinical prognosis , assessment of efficacy laboratory parameters . Methods in the Autonomous Region People's Hospital in November 2007 - August pancreatic surgery treatment of patients with acute pancreatitis (including 15 cases of patients with severe pancreatitis and 30 cases of mild acute pancreatitis ) , 20 patients with normal healthy control group . 5 ml venous blood serum was separated , and were measured before and after treatment of mild acute pancreatitis in patients with severe acute pancreatitis TNF -alpha , IL - 8 , IL - 6 and CRP varying levels of before and after treatment were taken . Results Before treatment , the SAP patients with TNF - alpha , IL - 8 , IL - 6 and CRP compared with the AP group and normal control group were significantly higher ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; SAP patients after treatment , IL-6 and CRP levels compared to before treatment significantly reduced ( P lt ; 0.05 ) , TNF - alpha and IL-8 levels did not change significantly compared with before treatment ( P gt ; 0.05 ) Conclusion : IL - 6 and CRP may be able to early to predict the prognosis of severe acute pancreatitis , and to some extent reflects the severity of the disease , and at the same time contribute to the clinical efficacy judgment . TNF - alpha and IL - 8 in the prediction and reflect disease severity and clinical efficacy judgments still needs to be confirmed .
