Objective: To by randomized block control experiments, study the gastric bypass weight loss surgery (GastricBy-pass), sleeve-shaped stomach volume reduction surgery (Sleeve Gastrectomy), gastric banding weight loss surgery (Gastric Lap-Band) and diet (Alimentary Control ) These four weight loss methods, weight control and glycemic control in type 2 diabetes in rats by streptozotocin (STZ) modeling, trying to find new effective treatment in type 2 diabetes (T2DM) and preliminary explore the relationship between the blood glucose control and weight loss, and to analyze the mechanism of action. Methods: type 2 diabetes model, male SD rat peritoneal Symphony radio STZ random approach successfully modeled rats were divided into groups of gastric bypass (GBP group), sleeve-shaped stomach volume reduction surgery group (SG group ), gastric banding weight loss surgery group (GLB group) and diet control group (AC group), respectively, applied to the gastric bypass, sleeve-shaped stomach volume reduction surgery, the helmet the belted weight loss surgery and diet control. 1,4,12,24 weeks after treatment before processing, dynamic observation of the rats body weight, fasting blood glucose (fasting blood glucose), glycosylated hemoglobin (glycosylatedhemoglobin), glucagon-like peptide -1 (GLP-1) glucose-dependent insulin-releasing peptide (GIP) changes. Results: GBP rats after 24 weeks survive 10 SG rats after 24 weeks survived for 14 the GLB rats 24 weeks after 18 survived the AC rats survived 12 after 24 weeks. GBP rats body weight in the first four weeks after surgery than before surgery significantly reduced (t = -8.195, P <0.05): GBP rats fasting blood glucose in the first week after surgery decreased compared with the preoperative statistically significant (t = -4.828, P <0.05), while changes in glycosylated hemoglobin statistically significant (t = -6.066, P <0.05) compared with the preoperative; decline in SG group, GLB group, AC blood glucose in the postoperative four weeks, compared with the preoperative statistically significant (P <0.05) was statistically significant (P <0.05), glycosylated hemoglobin after 12 weeks compared with the preoperative. Rats in each group at each time point GLP-1, GIP change compared with the preoperative not significant (P> 0.05). Conclusion: Several methods for weight loss can lower blood glucose of STZ-induced type 2 diabetic rats, but the most significant gastric bypass surgery effects. GBP postoperative blood glucose decreased with the reduction of the body weight of rats, reduced food intake no significant decline in blood sugar earlier than weight loss. Type 2 diabetic rat above four weight loss method to control blood sugar, not by changing the blood glucagon-like peptide-1, glucose-dependent insulin-releasing peptide level work. Approaches to weight loss, especially the mechanism of gastric bypass surgery in the treatment of type 2 diabetes needs further research and extensive clinical and ultimately cure type 2 diabetes provide new theoretical basis.
