Abstract


This article through analyses the differences of gender which contain physiological and psychological, regards design、designer and the process of design from the feminism, point out the location where the female designers and customers stay in under the patriarchy, and uncover the reason. Through analyses the demand of female customers and characteristics of female designers, according to the situation of non-differences in design, propose the concept of gender difference design, discuss this content and extension, and propose the factors of gender difference design, for example: function、form、material、color and psychology of customers. In the design application, analyses the background of outdoors sport and the location where female stay in this sport, especially analyses the situation of non-gender differences in outdoors sport product in level, and apply the achievement of research on the design of outdoors sport product, propose some concrete demands and solution to some of outdoors sport product, so make the outdoors sport product design produce new mentality, to design products which fit for female consumers.
