Abstract


People in today's world , intercultural communication is increasingly making around the world an opportunity to see his country 's culture . And tourism is an important form of cross - cultural communication . As the main medium of this language communicative behavior , tourism text has played a significant role in promoting publicity and stimulate tourism consumption . In recent years , tourism text a lot , but not perfect . About the tourism translation theory of few and far between , the theoretical study of the system is extremely rare . It is this lack of the author decided to choose this research direction . In Western huge cultural differences , there is a clear manifestation of tourism text in Chinese and English . Chinese tourism text information structure is significantly different , with the English translation must adjust and change the original information structure . Text information close to Halliday 's Register Theory . Language domain consists of three elements , namely language field , mode and tenor . Translated Chinese Tourist text is , the translator should language domain analysis , restructuring the information in the original , to produce better meet the English habit asked . The close relationship between the know, language and culture . The language is part of the culture is the carrier of culture ; contrary , the culture can promote the development of the language . One language into another language means had to study behind culture . Chinese and English, there are significant differences in terms of language and culture , and this more clearly reflected in the tourism text . The Chinese Tourist text often contains a strong culture , many of whom are famous poetry and allusions idioms . How accurate grasp of the language differences , asked readers just enough to convey cultural information is very important .
