Abstract


Yingkou Port has a long history,it is the nearest port to the sea in the northeastern region,with the broad economic hinterland including Liaoning,Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces and four leagues and cities in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia.With the reform and opening up and China’s accession to WTO,Yingkou Port embarked on a rapid development path.Especially after central government’s authoriting revitalize the northeast old industrial base,and Liaoning slogan and the central group formed the "six plus one" model of cooperation in 2005,Yingkou Port was injected new vitality of development.In 2006,cargo of Yingkou Port throughput reached 95 million tons and container throughput exceeded 1 million TEUs,Only one year later,Yingkou Port’s cargo throughput mark a formal break of 120 million tons.It is the organic integration between its unique geographical advantages and its back-northeast of the vast economic hinterland that makes Yingkou Port has a brilliant day.Yingkou Port is not only an important component of the "six plus one" model in central city of Shenyang Economic Area,which is the "1",but also the nearest port to the sea for economic hinterland that is,three eastern Inner Mongolia and Northeast League City,the hinterland area.The vast,rich products,is China’s important industrial material and equipment manufacturing industrial base,it has a strong industrial base. There is a kind of strongly complementary realationship between Yingkou Port and its hinterland of the economy,and it will play a decisive role which greatly accelerats the Shenyang Economic Area and the Northeast rejuvenation of old industrial bases. Yingkou Port and the economic development of the hinterland is closely related,the two must support each other to achieve common prosperity.Yingkou Port has became the outport of"city group around ShenYang",this will greatly improve the Shenyang Economic Area,the regional economic competitiveness,and enhance the Shenyang Economic Area,investment,financing attractivity.Yingkou Port will lead the six cities in central Liaoning Province,led the economic growth of hinterland,speeding up the revivaling of old northeast industrial base.Besides,the economic hinterland of Yingkou Port will give it continuously and strong support for it’s development.Therefore it is necessary to clear its position and have the courage to accept and assume the mission entrusted by history,in order achieve development by leaps and bounds.Based on the background above,the paper’s main content and aim are as follows:The Group of Port in Liaoning Province have established cooperation in the overall competitive posture analysis,which reached Yingkou Port’s strategic location.By analysising geographical location of Yingkou Port,we will get the strategic advantage brought by location advantages,which is the base of its low-cost strategy.And the resulting strategic advantage to quantify the research,Yingkou Port on the past because of their low cost and the implementation of the strategy for the entire northeast region of the logistics cost savings,the Yingkou Port throughput and the future development trend of macro conduct Forecast and made some policy recommendations.
