China's automobile industry after 50 years of development has made great achievements , automobile production and sales climbing world rankings , the automotive industry has entered a stage of accelerated development , the initial formation of \monopoly. But with the world nine largest auto group controls 80% of global market share compared to the current situation , China's auto industry is still very low market concentration , industry into excessive memory problems . In this context , this paper, the history of the domestic auto industry development track , explore the domestic automobile industry led to the root cause of the low level of concentration , analysis of China's automobile industry, the special characteristics of the industry , has a certain theoretical and practical significance. In this paper, industry concentration index to measure the true focus of China's automobile industry, the level of market structure with several classification criteria , expand the automotive industry concentration and developed horizontal comparison , in order to achieve the objective judgment of the domestic auto industry concentration levels of the purpose of the international status . The empirical part of the article follows the theoretical analysis of the content , the level of industrial concentration around the influence of the main factors ( such as the beginning of concentration, entry barriers, minimum economic size, market size, market demand growth , product differentiation, new vendors net participation rate etc. ) , build multiple linear regression model , from the theoretical and empirical aspects detailed analysis . On this basis, the author proposed to improve China's automobile industry concentration target mode , namely to build China's auto industry, \some viable policy recommendations.
