UOE large diameter welded tube is prevalent in the market of heavy calibre steel pipe because of its high quality and stability. At present, it is the best heavy calibre steel pipe and it becomes the dominant product of the big diameter welded tube. Two years ago,Bao steel formally started the construction project of large diameter pipeline of UOE in a real sense.According to the requirement of Bao steel,YanShan university was carrying out the development of UOE forming process simulation system and the basic research with Bao steel. The thesis is a important part in the cooperative project.Base on MSC.MARC of the large nonlinear finite element software,designing and programming of UOE forming process simulation system of arge diameter welded tube is realized by secondary development of MSC.MARC,and the UOE Process Simulation System(UOE PSS V1.0 for short) was developed.The software has functions of binding for the plate edge,U-forming,O-forming and mechanical expanding and it could generate the quality evaluation index report of each process in time. This will improve the computing efficiency of the post treatment of the simulation and the resolution.The whole process simulation of UOE forming process is realized by UOE PSS V1.0 software.The author researches the forming quality of each process under the influence of processing parameter and finds out the distortion mechanics in C-forming,U-forming,O-forming and m mechanical expanding and defect formation of convex amount and ellipticity., in order to identify the theory of the moulding process of UOE.
