Abstract

Giant magneto- resistive material has a broad application prospects in the field of basic research and applied , has become one of the hotspots of the current academic research . This alternating ferromagnetic metal and non-ferrous metal deposited multilayer nanowire arrays , each ferromagnetic layer can be seen as a single magnetic domain ferromagnetic nanoparticles , so the structure is not only highly ordered , and also to maintain ferromagnetic nanoparticles high-coercive- force characteristic . This article by secondary aluminum anodizing prepared aluminum oxide ( AAO ) template , the pore size of the AAO template by changing the anodizing voltage regulation . AAO template was successfully prepared the Cu , Ni single metal nanowires based on dual-slot DC deposition process within the AAO template obtained highly ordered Cu / Ni multilayer nanowire arrays , using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission electron microscopy ( TEM ) Cu / Ni multilayered nanowires were characterized by vibrating sample magnetometer ( VSM ) test multilayered nanowires magnetic and using the four-probe method of Cu / Ni multilayered Nanowires the array of giant magnetoresistance properties were studied . SEM test results show that the Cu / Ni multilayer nanowire surface is smooth, uniform diameter AAO template aperture is basically the same . By selected area electron diffraction ( SAED ) photo shows the multilayered nanowires layer of Cu and Ni single crystal structures . Under TEM observation to the layered structure of Cu / Ni Multilayered Nanowires clear , and by controlling the deposition power can be adjusted for each sub - layer thickness to obtain the wavelength of the type of modulation and the type of sub - layer thickness of the multilayer nanowires . Hysteresis loop test results show that the Cu / Ni multilayer nanowire arrays with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy , external magnetic field perpendicular to the surface of the AAO template , the hysteresis loop squareness ratio Sr ( Mr / Ms ) ( 0.2951 , 0.5167,0.7435,0.6661 ) much larger than the magnetic field parallel to the surface of the template when the squareness ratio ( 0.06824,0.04735,0.01965,0.09133 ) . The paper also examines the modulation wavelength and the diameter of the nanowires on the magnetic properties of the Cu / Ni Multilayered Nanowires , experimental results show that with the increase of the modulation wavelength and the decrease of the diameter of the nanowires , Cu / Ni multilayered nanowires coercive force tended to increase . Measured at room temperature and external magnetic field perpendicular to the film surface , a diameter of approximately 80 nm , a length of about 60 M Cu ( 8 nm ) / Ni ( 40 nm ) multilayered nanowires array of giant magnetoresistance of approximately 25.6%.
