Abstract


Urban landscape is an integrity of various visual entities and visual events. It is a comprehensive art concerning the urban spatial relationship, which satisfies people’s needs in life and gives them artistic enjoyment as well. With the aim of promoting social progress and economical benefits, a city is a spatial integrity of population, economy, science and technology, and culture, based on the utilization of space and environment. With the development of science and technology, the urban landscape has become a gauge of a city’s cultural development. Forestry is the living landscape, alleviating boredom and making people feel the impulse of life in a boring and crowded city. Therefore landscape employing greening to arrange space is filled with vigor and picturesque in form.By analysis, classification and generalizing greening forms, researches on greening in urban landscape, landscape, is to develop a sustainable and healthy mode of planting and special urban landscape, with the aim of better living standard, optimized working and living environment, and harmonious ecology. Greening of the urban landscape has a distinct visual characteristic with social, economical, aesthetic, and cultural values. The judgment of its multi-value is the base of classification, finding out similarities and differences between these values, in order to make the classification more direct and practical.Urban greening has extended to aesthetic and artistic environment layouts. Greening is not only a means of planting trees or decorating lawns. Liberated from the singleness of greening design, it diverts attention to designing of greening forms.This article focuses on the crucial elements in landscape design and their impacts on urban landscape and makes an analysis of them from the artistic point. Analysis and classification of greening forms in a city, efficiently reflecting the present situation of greening forms, lays the theoretical foundation of further design of urban landscape.From these analyses, it can be concluded that greening system in urban landscape is characteristic of the times and is in line with human being’s psychology belonging to green culture. As an important element in urban landscape, greening forms, strengthens the basis of natural ecology in the downtown landscape and the basis of society and environment. Building a landscape city adjusted to nature is the only way for survival and development in the future and develops a characteristic and high-standard picturesque urban landscape system blending natural and cultural views.
