Abstract


Population aging is a global issue , the world has become one of the hot issues of common concern . By the end of 2007 and over the age of 60 elderly population has reached 153 million , is the largest country in the number of older people worldwide . Along with social progress and material improvement of living standards , China's elderly ( especially urban ) basically solved the problem of maintenance of the material , the material needs of the elderly have been met , the spiritual needs will be highlighted. As a developing country , China in the process of population aging in the spirit of the maintenance issues facing more severe challenges . This drawing many experts and scholars in ancient China the recommendations and foreign useful experience of the system , combined with the current actual situation , in our spiritual support for the elderly Exploration and research. In this paper, on the spiritual support of the concept and character analysis, the elderly spiritual support by analyzing the problems , described its appearance reasons: changes in family structure , the increase in employment in different places , the traditional moral values ??of respecting elderly weakening of the lack of legal functions , the elderly protect their own interests in mind , there are errors.
