Abstract


As the implementation of essential-qualities-oriented education and the improvement of elementary education curriculm reform, the research into mathematics open problems has gradually been a heated subject of mathematics educational reseach. Mathematics open problems meet the needs of the development of the times. They provide an entry to push forward education for all-round development and train students’ sense of innovation. The essay aims at exploring the methods of compiling mathematics open problems that are fit for middle school students.The essay is based on analysis on the concept and classification of mathematics open problems and the influencing factors in compiling mathematics open problems. The essay provides some principles and methods for compiling mathematics open problems. The essay also sets some examples of how to compile mathematics open problems. Finally, it analyses the current situation of compiling mathematics open problems in the entrance examination to the high school of Jinzhou.The essay adopts the method of combining the study of documents and cases. It gives the author’s opinions on the following aspects:(1) the five principles of compiling middle school mathematics open problems(2) the methods of compiling middle school mathematics open problems, including①the methods of compiling middle school mathematics open problems based on enclosed mathematics problems②the methods of compiling middle school mathematics open problems based on daily life③the methods of compiling middle school mathematics open problems based on students’ experience(3) compiling middle school mathematics open problems in written examinations The problem that is the most important and needs to be solved urgently is that how to deal with a conflict—enclosed problems or open problems? the mathematics open problems in written examinations mostly test a single student’s opening and creativity of his mode of thinking. However, in this way, the opening of the student’s geographical space of study has been greatly decreased. The student’s communication with others and his approach to gaining information from the external world resource have been mainly cut off.
