Abstract

The digital signal generator is indispensable in the digital signal processing debugging equipment . In a project , in order to provide the special signals , such as radar signal , we need to design a dedicated digital signal generator to achieve the requirements of sending radar signals . In this article , PCI interface dedicated digital signal generator program . The program's goal is to collect and record the radar signals, the signal is sent to the host as a signal file is stored , then this signal file track separation , the need to track the signal file . At the same time , the signal generator has the function of the transmitted signal , the different forms of signal files can be sent to the detector port for device debugging . In this paper , the system design is divided into two aspects of hardware and software to introduce : the hardware part of the FPGA logic design with peripheral circuits to achieve . In the hardware design , the most important is the FPGA logic design, including 9 main logic control signal from the SPI interface , SDRAM chip logic control , PCI9054 logic control , and logic module synchronization signal , send and receive . In this process, the direction of the signal is bi-directional, the chosen chip having a bi-directional data function . In this paper , the software part includes driver software and application software . The driver software driven development, PLXSDK completion of the PCI bus by controlling collect and record data and send . The application software includes data extraction and data transmission , using methods such as the Kalman filter . Proved by experiments of the program is to fully meet the requirements of data transmission , achieve the speed of the SPI transfer requirements , it is possible to complete the track extraction , and data transfer .
