Abstract


Tunable fiber laser as a new light source can not only be applied to the field of optical communications , can also be used in the field of fiber optic sensors and spectral analysis , and therefore more and more attention . This research project based on integrated optical acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) tunable erbium-doped fiber laser , compared with other types of tunable erbium-doped fiber laser , not only has a wider tuning range and output line width , fast tuning , tuning , can be matched directly with optical fiber , has a higher economic practicality and feasibility . The research topics are all built on the device based on the laboratory has been developed and is being developed , mainly divided into two parts : 1 , acousto-optic tunable erbium-doped fiber laser output characteristics of theoretical research . After inquiries related literature , combined with the actual situation , deduced in detail the subject of the study is based on two acoustic optic tunable filter erbium-doped fiber laser output characteristics , and from the point of view of the entire device , the output characteristics of the factors relationship between Matlab programming , has been a series of erbium-doped fiber laser output characteristic diagram , to provide more direct key basis for the design of the subsequent laser ; proposed a novel wide tuning narrow-linewidth ring cavity erbium-doped fiber laser . Using a suitable annular chamber novel AOTF as tuning elements, the use of saturable absorption effect in forming a self-written transient grating for pressure narrow output laser linewidth is not pumped low erbium doped fiber to obtain a satisfactory theoretical analysis results .
