Abstract


With China success join into WTO,the petroleum and petrochemical industry in our nation has been increasingly launched out on a new environment with continuous changes and improvements on economy globalization, market integration, dynamic competition and technological progress. China market is increasingly becoming more and more preferable for international capital, which surely brings international competition into the inland and makes it deepened and upgraded. The domestic petrochemical enterprises including jinzhou petrochemical company will compete against old-line world known transnational petroleum and petrochemical corporations as well as many other considerably competitive abroad petroleum and petrochemical corporations. To find a foothold somewhere to exist and develop,the only way out for Jinzhou Petrochemical Company is to set up its own competitive advantages to promote its core capability on competition, which is a strategic choice for the domestic petroleum and petrochemical enterprises at the meantime and from now on.In any cases, this article is arguing how to objectively evaluate the core competitiveness for Jinzhou Petrochemical Company to clearly find its advantages and disadvantages so that the enterprises like Jinzhou Petrochemical Company take the opportunity to make the correct competition strategy and the right policy and hence facilitating the development of the nation’s petroleum and petrochemical enterprises and deepness of reformation of mechanism in this industry.
