Abstract


Dahua Co., LTD of Cangzhou, Heibei province, is nowadays on the stage of strategic transition, so how can we determine its development strategy in the future? And how can we implement this development strategy? My dissertation is just focusing on these above mentioned issues because it has great practical and guiding significance to Cangzhou Dahua who is just at the crossroad of two leading development trends with 30 years’history.In this dissertation, I mainly analyzed the market situation and the policy environment of tolylene diisocyanate(TDI), which is dealed in by Dahua Co., LTD at present. At the same time I recapitulated some related theories about the enterprise’s strategy research and dissected the interior status of the company later. On this basis, I compared the advantages with disadvantages of the nitrogen fertilizer market and the TDI industry through SWOT analysis and Boston matrix analysis, and took the massive comparison to the development perspective of both the two industries. Then I proposed the development strategy for Cangzhou Dahua----“stabilize the fertilizer business, open up and strengthen TDI business, transit to diisocyanate business”. According to these points, I analyzed and forecasted the industrious developmental stage in which Cangzhou Dahua developed itself and researched on the feasibility of the company’s TDI project whose annual output is 50,000 ton. And then illustrated the performance of the develop strategy of Cangzhou Dahua in detail.This thesis groped for the develop pattern of the tolylene diisocyanate (TDI) industry and proposed a three-stage develop pattern for the domestic TDI market. Then it expatiated on the three stages through which the strategy may go. The thesis also indicated that the company’s systematic development can result in the successful implementation of the strategy, so it is significant to upgrade the company’s managerial level thoroughly where there is still a long term to go and to the company, this is also a piece of arduous task.
