Abstract


The concept of \In this article, the mass culture refers to a cultural patterns of consumption based on socialized production , the use of modern technology and the media , mass bulk copy . Social development and technological progress , popular culture has become an important way for Chinese culture and structure the most dynamic, the most influential cultural forms , but also scholars to study the transformation of Chinese society and culture . Popular Culture Theory of the Frankfurt School as a preliminary judgment of Chinese contemporary popular culture studies and assessment of the thesis is based on the local context , combing through the situation in China , the Frankfurt School history and assessment study for China the impact of the study of popular culture and its internal logic , highlight the particularity and complexity of contemporary Chinese popular culture , to explore how to establish the feasibility of the original and has a contemporary sense of popular culture research and theoretical framework . The thesis is divided into three parts . In the first part , the main concept of mass culture theory defined , pointed out that the theory of popular culture sources .
