Abstract


Naturalization and alienation two translation strategies are often used in literary translation . The naturalization is transparent and fluent translation method to eliminate the strangeness of the source text to the target audience , and alienation retain the source language culture \Domestic and foreign scholars from different perspectives on the term . The English metaphor is rich in cultural connotation . The English metaphor translation studies have focused on cross - cultural communication , pragmatic discussion of science perspective , yet to be seen for a unit of work metaphor to translate the frequency analysis research . I will address the unique cultural metaphor to express the translation strategy frequency analysis . On the basis of the results of previous studies , different methods of translation will be divided into different naturalization and alienation grade of . And then compare the two translation of \This study randomly selected sentences , frequency and relative frequency detection . The results show that : the two versions of translation strategies have larger differences in cultural attitudes are not the same . Zhu translations more naturalization policy , and the the beam translation prefer alienation strategies ; the two translator translate the principles and guiding ideology similar ; choice of translation strategies are affected by many factors , but with variability and randomness. In this study, divided into six different levels of naturalization - alienation , they can more accurately reflect the translator translate the principles of ideological and cultural orientation . Translation strategies and practice of translation has positive significance .
