Abstract


Affix morphology is an important method of word formation, affixes correctly and effectively grasp the students' vocabulary acquisition for widening the breadth and depth of great significance. Affix morphology blunder Chinese English learners often mistake one, and in research in this area seems to be little, perhaps this is a neglected issue. In this paper, an error analysis theory which is based on the use of research methods corpus, with \and to investigate its causes, so as to classroom teaching, textbook writing to provide some help. This study uses an error analysis (Error Analysis) method, emphasis on the Chinese learners of English Corpus (Chinese Learner English Corpus, CLEC) from a total of five sub-corpora affix acquisition error conditions. By the results of the classification error and using SPSS analysis, five different levels of Chinese English learners affix acquisition process distribution and characteristics of the mistakes. This paper analyzes and produce all kinds of possible causes of error. This article uses the 'Chinese Learner English Corpus \The study found: a) affixes turnovers in five groups with different levels of English learners in China are widely distributed and can be divided into derivative affixes and inflectional affixes two categories. Studies have shown that the derived affixes and inflectional affixes errors in each sub-corpus are distributed, high school English learners derived affixes and inflectional affixes fewest errors, rather than major college English learners derived affixes and inflectional affixes most errors. 2) non-major college English learners affixes misuse the most significant, followed by the high school English learners (they do not have a grasp of affixes usage rules, but because the vocabulary is very limited), while the use of English learners affixes mistakes minimum. 3) Chinese learners of English affixes to use mistakes can be divided into five categories: the abuse of affixes, mix affixes, less affixes the law does not fully grasp affixes, spelling errors, each category can be subdivided into a number of categories. 4) In the five categories of affixes with mistakes, all kinds of Chinese learners of English affixes the highest frequency of excessive use. Research shows that Chinese learners of English Corpus five sub-corpus common affixes mistakes, and even high-level Chinese English learners, affix acquisition still exist in great difficulties. Cause of the error within the error, including language, neglect or misuse of the rules and cognitive factors. Finally, the article discusses the conclusions from this study for affix acquisition and teaching.
