Abstract


The Association of Southeast Asian Nations since its inception in 1967, has been 40 years, it has experienced unspeakable best of the ups and downs, twists and turns of its path of development, but it is full of contradictions and differences of regional organizations has made remarkable achievements in the past decades. It developed from the first five countries to include the entire 10 countries of Southeast Asia's \chaotic region developed into becoming prosperous and strong, like tiger-like dragon, a place in the world political and economic arena Southeast Asian Community. While ASEAN is still a huge gap between the level of integration with the EU, compared the financial crisis began in 1997, making this region battered, but after 40 years of efforts, the regional organization in the political, economic, security and other cooperation can achieve such impressive results, say that it is a miracle. This paper mainly discusses the history of ASEAN political cooperation and cooperation mechanism constructed, in accordance with article writing context, roughly divided into the following parts: First, the theoretical study of the status quo of domestic and international political cooperation in the ASEAN and related international mechanisms are reviewed exploration.
