Abstract


The rapid development of network technology , the digital library community sessions by its state-of-the-art , flexible information service attention . The research on digital libraries has become an important issue in the information management field of research . This paper analyzes the existing problems in the digital library of digital information resources management , development of key technologies, digital library at home and abroad . For digital library information resources organization , based on a comprehensive understanding of the key technologies of XML-related technical specifications and digital libraries , to study the feasibility of the application of the XML-related technology in the digital library , focus on digital library system resources organization technology and core metadata to build technology that uses XML technology to a wide range of digital library resources , bibliographic metadata of bibliographic resources and research resources available in the digital library management system structure . XML indexing language , RDF specification DC metadata is the important applications of the digital library . Organic integration of the three digital library information systems to better play the advantage of the convenient multi - resource information services to the community . Analysis of the current library using the MARC format data , the DC metadata XML . XML-based digital library architecture . As a validation of the theory , design and implementation of a system based on B / S structure of digital library resources management and publishing . This paper presents a detailed architecture and solutions , management of digital resources , search and query capabilities , and discuss the implementation of the XML converter method , the key technology and how to control the display of XML documents using XSL to meet the needs of different users .
