Abstract


The system of bank’s credit card and debit card, aims to share resources of the network and a good environment of depositing and cashing anywhere with the bank card as medium. One person who has a credit card can operate his account at any terminal machine (such as ATM and POS) which connects to the network. The security of the system is quite significant to gurantee the safe operation of the bank and to protect the benefits of clients, banks or even the nation against aggressiveness. But it is also a complex problem and has relationship with many sites.This paper is based on the security requirements of certain commercial bank, and it discussed the security architecture from the security organization, security management and security technology at first. Security organization is the bank system built from the head office to branch office; security management includes policies and regulations, managerial systems; and the security technology is key point of this paper, and technology and implementation about host security and application security is the primary coverage.As for the host security, this paper proposed some security mechanisma and implementations, such as the user grouping and entering authority controlling, resource grouping and access authority controlling, application program library access controlling, trade grading and authority controlling, queue structure and the stored data’s protection, system activity auditing and supervision. These implementations mainly focused on the operating management of the system platform, such as operating system and database system, to prevent invalid access, data interception and other illegal breaking and entering. As for the application security, this paper first analysed the overall structure of the bank system and application software, and then in the first class transfer center module proposed the manage controlling process for user entering and resource access, in the online processing module implemented the calling authority controlling of different procedures, and in the batching processing module proposed the security controlling process of job steam.This paper started from the technology, based on the security requirements of the bank card system, and discussed the crucial technology and implementation of security of bank system from aspects of host security and application security. The security mechanisms and implementations taken in this paper played an important part in the security protection of our example system. They reduced the malicious attack of the system, protected the normal operating of bank business, and achieved obvious economical benefits and social benefits.
