Abstract


How to make the middle school Chinese reading teaching more better is a research that Chinese education workers and researchers continuously explore. Constructivist is one of the most influential theories in the contemporary west educational psychology. In recent years, Constructivism theory gets much attention and has become a guiding idea of education and teaching reform in the world. Constructivist provides a new perspective and theoretical guidance for middle school Chinese reading teaching, which is worth to pursue and explore. It meets the basic principle of Chinese reading teaching and the developing tendency, accord with reading ability cultivation regularity. This article tries to deeply illustrate the constructivism concept of knowledge, learning and teaching and learning environment characteristics, and in the light of new curriculum, under the premise of the current status of Chinese reading teaching in high school, find fit of application between them, and then help Chinese educators and learners understand the processing principles of literature reading teaching, form a scientific and effective reading teaching ideas, improve reading teaching efficiency, cultivate language practice capacity and exploring capability , thus enhance their Chinese literacy. These make reading teaching brought out a new look.The paper is divided into three chapters. Chapter one is the introduction, which presents the origin and development of constructivism from a historical point and focuses on interpreting the concept of knowledge, learning, teaching and learning environment characteristics. The second chapter analyzes the problems of the current middle school Chinese reading teaching from the perspective of constructivist theory, especially the following three aspects: the problem of teachers reading teaching, the status quo of meddle school students reading, and the process of reading teaching on the class. The third chapter analyzes the practical meaning of the constructive theory to Chinese reading teaching in middle school, finds the fitting of application between constructivism and middle school Chinese reading teaching, and researches teaching specific reading strategies, including creative reading, personalized reading, situation reading and diversified reading.
