Abstract


OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study is aimed at preparation and bioavailibility of recombinant human growth hormone suppository. METHODS: Quality and identification were studied by HPLC method,etc. Bioavailability was studied by ELISA method. RESULTS: Recombinant human growth hormone suppository was prepared by glycerol / gelatin with the ratio of 3 to 1. Promote absorbent is defined as Triton X-100. The quality determinations of recombinant human growth hormone suppository were all achived to the standard as described in Chinese Pharmcopoeia. The stability of recombinant human growth hormone suppository was shown a stable character with 24months at 4℃and 6 months at 25℃. Bioavailability of human growth hormone suppository can achived more than 40% in rat’s study. CONCLUSIONS: Recombinant human growth hormone suppository prepared in this study was with a high quality, good stability and high bioavailability.
