Abstract


The purposes vascular endothelial growth factor -C (VEGF-C) and its receptor VEGFR-3mRNA promote with malignant lymphatic formed important factor expression and malignant lymph node metastasis and prognosis . This paper aims to study the expression of VEGF-C and of VEGFR-3mRNA in non-small cell lung cancer and its clinical significance . Method using RT-PCR analysis of the expression of VEGF-C and of VEGFR-3mRNA of fresh lung tissue of 60 cases of cancer and adjacent normal lung tissue , and analyzed the relationship with clinical and pathological features . Results in the lung tissue expression of VEGF-CmRNA positive rate was 68.33% ( 41 / 60 ) , including 34 cases the VEGFR-3mRNA positive , VEGF-C and VEGFR-3 expression is closely related ( P <0.01 ) . The expression of VEGF-CmRNA with lymph node metastasis , differentiation and TNM stage was significantly associated ( P <0.01 , P <0.05 ) , but has nothing to do with the patient's age, tumor size and pathological type . No VEGF-C/VEGFR-3mRNA expression in normal lung tissue . Conclusion VEGF-C/VEGFR-3mRNA expression and lymph node metastasis from lung cancer and its prognosis.
