Abstract


Objective To investigate the the fetal lateral expansion pregnancy and late outcome and prognosis . Materials and Methods after 20 weeks of pregnancy routine ultrasound fetal lateral ventricles widened by 48 patients as research subjects . Over the same period to check fetal lateral ventricle dilatation in 40 patients as a control . Observed the fetal lateral expansion pregnancy , late outcome . 1 week neonatal brain color Doppler ultrasound examination after birth neonatal behavioral neurological assessment (NANB method) after January , six months after the infant mental age the assessment (GESELL score ) to evaluate the development of the nervous system . All data entered into the computer . Processing using SPSS11.5 software package . The significance level α = 0.05 ( two-sided) . Results 1 ultrasound first discovered the lateral expansion gestational age measured values ??were positively correlated ; the isolated lateral expansion and non-isolated lateral ventricle dilatation was no significant difference ( p > 0.05 ) . The isolated the lateral expansion fetal prognosis with non- isolated the lateral expansion fetal prognosis significant difference . 2 lateral ventricle expansion intrauterine benign outcome , the NABA and GESELL rated the control group had no significant difference ( p > 0.05 ) ; not fully vested in six months after birth diagnosis of hydrocephalus 2 GESELL rated diagnosed as cerebral palsy . 4,12 routine fetal chromosomal examination, the results were normal. 5 , study groups , and children with cerebral palsy ventricular expansion ratio significant difference . Conclusion 1 , the ultrasound for the first time found that the lateral expansion opportunities and the degree of increase with gestational age growth . 2 , mild lateral ventricle dilatation <12mm , pregnancy , late benign outcome , the prognosis is good . 3 , isolated ventriculomegaly a better prognosis than non- isolated brain expansion . For expansion after the birth of the fetus emphasis on long-term follow-up is not fully vested in the ventricle before birth . 5 simple ventriculomegaly children with cerebral palsy ventriculomegaly no significant relationship .
