Abstract


Acinetobacter baumannii is the most common form of clinical conditions pathogens cause serious hospital -acquired infections . With the extensive application of antibacterial drugs , bacterial resistance has become more and more serious , and the emergence of the phenomenon of multi-drug resistant and pan- resistant strains . The clinical patients infected with pan-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii is often no drugs available , resulting in high mortality , clinical treatment is very difficult . Neurosurgery ICU ward is critically ill patient-focused understanding of Acinetobacter baumannii resistance, and the trend analysis of drug-resistant strains of homology , to be able to effectively control the prevalence of resistant strains . This study selected from February 2007 to August 2008 neurosurgery ICU ward of a hospital 41 cases of hospitalized patients isolated in vivo 41 Acinetobacter baumannii , all strains using automated microbial analyzer Microscan WalkAway96 ( Dade Behring , USA company ) re-identification . Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method ( Kirby - Bauer KB method) to detect the sensitivity to antibiotics . Bacterial resistance monitoring network with the World Health Organization WHONET5.3 software for statistical analysis of data . Using statistical software SPSS13.0 statistical analysis of data on clinical data and the relationship between the degree of resistance . Select the 17 resistant Acinetobacter strains were analyzed by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis . The Tenover such as the naked eye Criteria : banding pattern difference ≤ 3 bands strains is considered the genome highly homologous , is closely related to the same clone , popular science . Found that neurosurgery ICU ward Acinetobacter Acinetobacter serious resistance , multi- drug-resistant strains and pan- drug-resistant strains of Acinetobacter baumannii cephalosporins , carbapenems and other commonly used drug resistance rates have risen trend. The condition of the patient , long-term use of the ventilator , the use of antibiotics with multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii related . Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis showed neurosurgery ICU ward have been a small-scale homology - resistant Acinetobacter baumannii infections .
