Abstract


Has long been well-known playwright Shakespeare has attracted worldwide attention and attention, while the other a talented playwright Christopher Marlowe was ignored. Marlow is a British real founder of Renaissance drama, in that time fame \is well known. Therefore, this author structuralist narratology in dualistic theory as the basis, in-depth exploration of the two tragedies Marlowe \the profound drama common theme - When a person desires such knowledge or money driven, and vain attempt to dominate the world, he is also destined to be destroyed by this desire. This paper is divided into five parts: The first part is an overview, recalling the Marlowe great contribution to the world of literature and significance, as well as his two works: \a brief review of the relevant literature reviews, and resulting structuralist analysis of the reason for using these two methods to analyze the causes and significance of theater. In the first chapter, the author briefly discusses the structuralist perspective overview of these two plays, the upcoming used in the theoretical framework of this article made a clear overview. This section consists of three aspects: firstly introduces the main structuralist literary theory methodology - dualism; then cites Greimas and Todorov's structuralist theory of narrative. Finally, the author briefly discusses the tragedy of these two characteristics of structuralism. The second chapter analyzes the \Analysis of three aspects: the double plot works dualism, with the story of the development and changes in the scene dualism, and characters body dualism. Finally explores the theme of the play structure, and concluded: order and chaos is the core of dualism. The last part is the paper concludes.
