Abstract

Accompanied by scientific and technological development of information technology, in the context of globalization, intercultural exchanges become more frequent, the importance of intercultural communicative competence is more prominent. In the context of this era, the needs of the community with the cross-cultural competence, talent, and therefore there is an urgent need to improve cross-cultural communicative competence. Therefore, how to cultivate talents with intercultural communicative competence has become an emerging and urgent issues. Angle to consider the historical background of English teaching, English language development to become the international lingua franca of the situation, the ultimate purpose of the English teaching to cultivate intercultural communicative competence of foreign language talent. This idea also get a lot of recognition of foreign language education as a top priority, cross-cultural communication ability in the field of teaching practice. Intercultural communication has been infiltrated into foreign language teaching in the major universities, gradually revealed as an independent professional characteristics, and eventually out of the limitations in the development of the field of linguistics. However, an overview of the study of Chinese and foreign scholars in the field of intercultural communication, intercultural communicative competence and its training methods have long been difficult to reach a consensus. Intercultural communicative competence is a multidimensional concept, therefore, this ability also need to inspect from multiple angles. Cross-cultural training and other training particularity, can improve the efficiency of communication between people with different cultural backgrounds and work through this kind of training. Cross-cultural training in Europe and the United States has developed quite mature, but also limited to the attempt in the field of business training in China, and a full range of cross-cultural training and research is still in its infancy. Cross-Cultural Introduction to this paper by examining the direction of the Shanghai International Studies University, Graduate School of Intercultural Communication, preliminary questionnaire survey of enrolled students, combined with cross-cultural training and experiential teaching theory, design an experiential teaching based inter- cultural communication training programs. Cross-cultural communication in Direction of students usually focus on theoretical study, the lack of direct experience in cross-cultural communication, emotions, and experiences. This paper aims through the experiential training programs to make up for the emotional, and the lack of experience in these two areas to provide a reference strategy. This thesis, mainly qualitative research, supplemented by a quantitative analysis method. The paper focuses on the design process of cross-cultural training programs, including the establishment of training objectives, training content selected and the selection of training activities. The questionnaire survey was designed to determine the points to be included in the training programs and to assess the effectiveness of training. Throughout the study plan the process of issuing two questionnaires. Before designing the training program, the trainees questionnaire survey, summary of the core requirements as well as the expectations of the training. After the training, the trainees assessment survey to detect training effects. The article five parts. Chapter I describes the background and significance of this study. The second chapter is the theoretical basis for research on experiential teaching and the definition of cross-cultural training, and scholars at home and abroad so far in the interpretation of the relationship between these two concepts based on various models on both depth to suitable for the study of the learning mode. The third chapter outlined the research methodology and questionnaire research process. Chapter as a core part of this article, combined with cross-cultural training design process, from the analysis of training needs, determine training purposes, the specific objectives of the development of various training steps, select training means, arrange training sequence of activities and progress, and the implementation of training and evaluation The whole process, and combined with experience teaching theory, fiction based on a teaching experience of cross-cultural communication training program design. The fifth chapter points out the limitations of this study, and proposed to continue to study the possibility.
