Abstract


In recent years, the domestic concern of consumerism and research gradually increased , but little empirical studies of high school students consumption tendencies . The theme of this paper is to study of urban high school students consumer tendencies and its main influencing factors , and to explore the consequences of consumerism individual level , mainly on the ability to bring a sense of joy and happiness . Taking into account the factors of urbanization is the social basis of the origin and spread of consumerism , city high school students , four hypotheses : first , the high school students on the attitudes and behavior have a certain consumer tendencies ; higher consumer spending consumer tendencies of middle school students in developed regions is more obvious . Third, families in the middle and upper class of urban high school students consumer tendencies more obvious ; fourth , consumerism has a negative impact on the happiness and well - being of the individual . The study used questionnaires to collect data , we conducted a descriptive analysis of the data , analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis . Overall descriptive analysis results show urban high school students with a low to medium degree of consumerism tendencies , and the concept of consumerism tendencies than the tendency of behavior evident ; analysis of variance results show , live different high school students consumerism tendency not significantly different , the family in a high - class high school students consumer tendencies ; Multiple regression analysis showed tendency to impact significantly on the overall consumerism junior high and high school consumer education , father's occupation , \\
