Abstract


In recent years the network public opinion has become an important part of the real public opinion, is considered to be a faithful representative, public opinion in the national democratic construction and social development has an important significance in the process. In 2008 the significant events of April, network public opinion have a strong influence, is worth us carry on the summary and thinking. Based on power BBS as the research object, on April 2008 event network public opinion points discussed three parts: the first part discusses major events in the issue of network public opinion. The second part discusses major events in network public opinion formation and development. The third part discusses major events in the development of network public opinion characteristics and functions. This paper found that, in a major emergency, BBS network can quickly produce the issue of network public opinion, and spread a variety of news source, and at the same time, along with the development and change events. Significant events of the network public opinion is not a qualitative, in the BBS of rapid formation and propagation process, pass and traditional media constantly interactive process, and critics of influencing each other between three process. Significant events of the network public opinion formation of sensitivity, real-time interactive and divergent. Network public opinion and traditional media such as combination, will produce very big events and social influence.
