Abstract


The radio frequency identification (Radio Frequency Identification, RFID) technology is a use of automatic identification technology for wireless communication . RFID technology can greatly improve the level of social information . RFID technology , select the reader and the anti-collision algorithm as a research focus , design -based MF RC500 chip reader and slot ALOHA algorithm improvements . The reader is composed mainly by the control system , a high frequency transceiver circuit and antenna . The design of the C8051F340 MCU to complete the function of the control system , high frequency transceiver circuit function the MF RC500 production by Philips antenna produced directly on the PCB microstrip antenna . The software is the main microcontroller on the program , including communication with the host computer to control the MF RC500 finished label . Slotted ALOHA algorithm is an important in RFID anti-collision algorithm , it is the biggest problem is when the label more than the number of slots , the conflict will be increasing rapidly , leading to the identification efficiency decreased rapidly . In this paper, the improved slot ALOHA algorithm can solve this problem to some extent . Thought it is trying to find tag response in each time slot to make the best probability in the earliest possible time slot , making the reader out of the tag identification . Specifically, it is to make the reader in the first time slot can identify the tags (i.e. the first time slot , only a tag response ) the maximum probability , if the reader in the first slot , no can identify the label , so that the reader can identify the second slot tags maximum probability ; so on. This can reduce the recognition time of the reader . Slot ALOHA algorithm improved with the increase of the number of labels , maintained the recognition efficiency of about 36.8% , depending on the maximum random number generated by the tags inside the upper limit of the number of tags .
