Abstract


Along with the in-depth development of information technology, the combination of virtual reality technology and GIS technology makes virtual environment simulation can be achieved. A series of research direction of the digital city, digital earth, and the virtual battlefield has made rapid development, and gradually moved from theory to application. Armed Police (CAPF) command training simulation system is a visual simulation system for the application of virtual reality technology and GIS technology, three-dimensional geographical environment modeling is the key technology constitute the basic elements of the system, but also the system implementations, so this article will be three-dimensional geographic environment, terrain modeling techniques and the application of the system in the command and control of the Armed Police Force for a more in-depth study and discussion. This article made research work is concentrated in five areas: 1. Proposed an armed police command training simulation system architecture to study the function of the system structure and processes. Focus on in-depth analysis of the system functional requirements based on the specific features of the system function modules and systems scenes integrated with the simulation process, and finally the study and discussion of some of the key technologies of the system implementation and realization method. (2) to generate based on LOD three-dimensional terrain with real-time display technology and complex buildings CSG modeling techniques, and match the terrain and surface features, both seamlessly put together. Focus on 3D terrain modeling based on a simplified model of the LOD 3D terrain modeling and rendering method, to meet the requirements of real-time and realistic large-scale terrain rendering; complex building modeling, focusing on the complex CSG modeling method of the building, and a simplified modeling of complex buildings. Finally, the transformation of the terrain will set the level to match the building to achieve a good match of the terrain and surface features. Proposed a 3D road modeling using computer automatically intersection detection and modeling approach. Proposed a three-dimensional road intersection surrounded by a rectangular judgment algorithm of automatic detection and modeling methods, the use of this method, three-dimensional road intersection automatic detection and modeling, and can realize the automatic matching of terrain . 4 a command training simulation system is designed and implemented a system to achieve some of the key technologies involved in the process. The analysis of the existing command of the Armed Police Force, the Armed Police Command Training Simulation System application mode in the command and control of the Armed Police Force discussed the system operational command and military training. Finally, a summary of the research work and the content and direction of further research.
