With the computer hardware design standards improve , more and more software development work is focused on the graphical user interface (GUI) . More and more embedded systems need the support of the GUI , the graphical user interface designed for different embedded development platform as one of the keys of the embedded system design , its role becomes more and more important . This paper embedded Linux system using a graphical user interface that Microwindows example, to discuss the research and application of related technologies . Discusses in detail the specific application related technologies to the medical monitor of the software development process , monitor software features , and ultimately control library through the development of a related interface Microwindows . The main work is as follows : more complex the monitor GUI features implemented in this article the direct use Microwindows provided API will do a lot of repeat similar work . Therefore, in order to maximize reuse has developed modules , through the use of object-oriented thinking , re- organization API, designed and implemented a Microwindows control library . Final in the Monitor software development based on the platform of the EW-AM3902 the control library applications , to achieve the relevant module functions .
