Abstract


The parallel operation of multiple users to share information in a collaborative editing system will inevitably produce conflict . How to resolve conflicts and maintain data consistency is a key issue in collaborative editing systems . This paper first introduces the concept of collaborative editing system , the core content of the architecture and its research , cited some of the existing collaborative editing system , and then study some existing concurrency control method , and point out their strengths and weaknesses and the field of application . Existing concurrency control methods can not completely meet the system needs , we will operate a conversion algorithm (dOPT) and document tagging algorithm combination lock directory path for supporting consistency maintenance algorithm . This algorithm combines the the operation conversion and document marked the advantages of both , and maintenance operation of the user's wishes and data consistency . Share documents in the form of a directory tree is displayed in the user interface , user-friendly browsing and concurrent access lock method to control the user 's directory path , and to ensure the integrity of the document structure . Based on the above algorithm is designed and implemented a prototype collaborative editing system based on B / S mode . Come through the system to achieve the algorithm in the time complexity and space complexity are superior the original concurrency control method .
