Abstract


Peace School in Sierra Leone Sierra Leone (Sierra Leone School of Peace) is a well-known state secondary schools . Per semester freshmen enrollment has increased year by year since 1990 , and in recent years the trend of substantial growth . Due to the excessive growth of the number of students , led to an increase in school administrative departments , schools overwhelmed . This school from its inception has been to rely on manual methods to manage . With the increase in the number of students , this management method is facing a lot of problems . Simply put , the management system is difficult to cope with the increasing of the management . The purpose of the design school Management Information System (SMIS) , is that in order to overcome the difficulties of the management of the Sierra Leone Peace School . Can be stored in the system , the information generated in the operation and handling school , which will enable efficient school administrative departments within a reasonable period of time to complete the day-to-day work . The hope is that this system , schools can be quicker answer students ' relatives asked more rapid response from the Ministry of Education to ask the collective student inquiries . The system research project in Sierra Leone . The paper highlights our self-developed computer database and application - based school management information system (SMIS) .
