Abstract


To investigate the effect of epithelium growth factor on the different size follicle of ovine oocytes maturation and the early development of embryo in vitro,a series of nine experiments were conduted to compare characteristic of different size follicle、the grade of different size follicle of oocyte、its chromatin configuration、maturation and the early development of embryo in vitro, 100ng/mlEGF was supplemented to the maturation medium、the culture medium respectively. Finally to reveal the effect of EGF on the ovine oocytes maturation and the early development of embryo in vitro through maturation rate、embryo development competence and the cell numbers of blastocsts. The conclusion were following:1.the new collection method of cuting and scraping can significant increase the total of cumulus-oocyte complexes of ovine and the follicle diameter was bigger The percentage of grade A and B was higher.2.The maturation rate of ovine oocyte was different with the same woking concentration of LH、E2 on breeding season and nonbreeding season..3. the follicle diameter was bigger, the maturation rate was higher, and the trend of early development competence of embryo was normal.4.EGF effect the Germinal Vesicle Breakdown positively,the development competence of embryo was improved by the supplement epithelium growth factor in maturation of medium 199,especially the oocyte on follicular deviation formed embryo. EGF effect the cell numbers of blastocsts positively as it add to the culture in vitro.
