Abstract


The purpose of critically ill body systemic inflammatory response in the under -stimulating factor status . Systemic inflammatory response induced expression of several cytokines , such as endothelin , such as tumor necrosis factor . Therefore to study endothelin , tumor necrosis factor in critically ill patients , to explore the mechanism of critical illness and treatment via new ideas . We detected 20 cases of critically ill children , 18 cases of non - critically ill children , 10 cases of endotoxin shock in rats with normal rat plasma endothelin and tumor necrosis factor content . Results Results Show: critically ill children and endotoxin shock in rats plasma endothelin , tumor necrosis factor levels significantly higher than the non - critically ill children with normal rats , the difference was significant . And multi-organ failure endothelin and tumor necrosis factor levels in critically ill children was significantly higher than the single - organ failure with organ failure group , the difference was significant . Disease progression endothelin and tumor necrosis factor were significantly higher than cure and improved group , both significant . Conclusion The toxin is one of the important inducers of tumor necrosis factor , tumor necrosis factor as a systemic inflammatory response initiating factor , excessive systemic inflammatory response induced by activation of the cytokine network system , and endothelin jointly involved in tissue damage , and may lead to the occurrence of MOF . In the development and progression of critical illness , endothelin level of tumor necrosis factor and organ function status can occur as a critical illness the MOF warning parameters , but also can be used to predict the prognosis and outcome of critically ill patients .
