Abstract


Looking forward to the 21st century , human beings will be fully into the era of knowledge economy , the high-tech industry as a pillar industry of the knowledge-based economy will be the protagonist of the world economic stage , the level of the degree of development of the high-tech industry will determine the strength of a country's international competitiveness . Technology-intensive , high investment , high risk , high return due to the modern high-tech industries , the traditional financial system is difficult to directly support the development of high-tech industry , the emergence of the venture capital industry and the establishment of the venture capital market , can broaden funding sources for the development of high-tech industries , important funds relying on high-tech industrial development . The United States as the most developed countries in the birthplace of venture capital , the venture capital industry , its successful experience has become a model for the world development of high-tech industries , research and analysis of the main features of the system of U.S. venture capital for fledgling China 's venture capital industry is an important reference and practical significance . This study has two focus : First , by analyzing the unique funding demand characteristics of the high-tech industry , to reveal the importance of venture capital in high-tech industrialization process . Second , the main features of the analysis of the development of the U.S. venture capital industry and venture capital system , and to aggregate the situation and existing problems of China 's venture capital industry , proposed a number of recommendations for the establishment of risk investment mechanism to promote China's high-tech industry development , improve the level of China's international competitiveness .
