Abstract

In recent years, flexible objects in computer graphics simulation is an important and frontier areas , which are similar material , shape characteristic variable in the garment CAD / CAM, computer animation , virtual reality technology and other fields have a wide range of applications. The research on flexible objects is often limited by the computer software and hardware support for it and its complex nature , is still no standard model and algorithm specifications. Overall, the simulation method for flexible objects mainly based on geometry, physics , mixed three techniques , due to the physical technology not only can reflect the external characteristics of flexible objects , but also in-depth analysis of its internal structure may receive more realistic simulation results . Therefore, in the further course of the study , the technique has become the mainstream of flexible objects . Firstly flexible objects from the study of the basic problems, we in -depth study of graphics, finite element method, on the basis of rigid body dynamics is proposed to describe flexible objects a valid model : Particle - elastic system . The model is flexible objects using physical techniques for stress analysis , external integration, stress analysis, strain calculation . Secondly, given the above model of a simulation algorithm is implemented in the microcomputer of the algorithm . Finally, the simulation results were compared and analyzed. In the study , based on the text of the flexible objects Simulation Difficulty: collision detection , self-test , friction and flexible objects seamless connectivity and other issues were discussed certain proposed personal views. In addition, according to the literature and the author 's own experience, flexible objects simulation predicted research directions and prospects.
