Abstract


In china, TV talk show has a history for more than twenty years. As a major kind of TV talk show, financial talk show also has rich discourse, but most of them are still on historical and descriptive aspects. In this essay, I try to start with Dialogue and Boss Town and then analyze the new trend of the financial talk show in our country. Through a relatively all-sided research on Dialogue and Boss Town, I wish the essay could provide some useful reference to the financial talk show.CCTV "Dialogue" is a successful model of financial talk show which was launched as a studio talk show in July 2000. The target audience is "people who concerned about the dynamics of economic reform and with the capacity of social decision-making ", the program dedicated to provide a platform for "the reporter, business leaders, government officials, economic experts and investors". "Dialogue" aims to be a highly influential program, they claimed that "we want to affect those who are influential people". In 2006, HuRun agencies launched the "The report of brands tend of Chinese multi-millionaire" it shows that most Chinese economy millionaires like financial talk show---"Dialogue." "Dialogue" from the "greatest stunning in 2001" turn into "Regal China in 2006 election", and its success is beyond doubt. The first commercial talk show profile interactive program "Boss Town" broadcasts on June 10 2006."BossTown" is the file character which is full of entertaining, the program is made by First Financial TV, SMG TV, the public TV. "Boss Town" invited famous business elite as a protagonist and also invited three people from business community, cultural or entertainment fields. They formed the dimensional interactive system. From different angles, different level of personal temperament to show the entrepreneurs, and their wonderful lives.What the audiences see is not a boring lecture class, but a vivid and with challenging spirit of entrepreneurs. "In two years, the ratings of "Boss Town" soared, the current ratings ranked in the forefront of SMG.We can say that "Dialogue" is a successful model of financial talk show "Boss Town" is the rising star also shows its character and competitiveness. "Dialogue" and "Boss Town" have their own characteristics.The author study on the development of China Financial talk shows, and analysis the growth of "Dialogue" and the successful experience of "Boss Town". Their development, characteristics and the value of communication have a great reference and value for trends and innovations of financial TV talk show. The author gives advice and put forward to the trends of China financial TV talk show.
